Performance of Top Art and Design Apps in South America, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the top Art and Design apps in South America showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor experienced a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.4M in early May. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 760K in the same period, while active users varied between 27.9M and 32.1M, showing some decline towards the end of the quarter.

Genius: AI Photo Generator saw a significant drop in weekly revenue, starting from $1.8K and declining to about $71 by the end of June. Download numbers also decreased from a high of 1.7M at the start of the quarter to around 69K. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 1.6M to approximately 324K.

Adobe Express: AI Photo, Video maintained stable revenue between $6K and $7K. Downloads peaked at around 236K in early June, while active users showed a slight increase, reaching about 801K in the same period.

Draw Cartoon - AR Drawing App recorded no revenue but had fluctuating downloads, peaking at approximately 235K in mid-May. Active users increased steadily, reaching a high of 255K during the quarter.

ibis Paint X showed stable revenue, with a peak of around $4.5K in late June. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight peak at 183K in late April. Active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 7.5M.
